ANNOUNCEMENT!

BIG ROCK SHOW. MINNEAPOLIS. MAYBE!

I’d love nothing more than to OFFICIALLY REPORT that I'm putting on a big rock show in Minneapolis this summer at the fabled First Avenue rock club, before a packed house, and that we’re shooting it on glorious, sparkling 16mm FILM, thanks to the eager help of a full crew compliment, the generous contributions of monied individuals, etc., etc.

I cannot make such an announcement at this time, but I can say that I’m OFFICIALLY TRYING to put this show together.

That being said, there are obviously many obstacles to this gig.

There’s the venue, ticket sales, film stock, a crew, band rehearsals, travel and lodging, compensation, equipment, insurance, promotion, and one thousand additional details to consider.

At the moment, I firmly believe the people, resources and enthusiasm are out there and that if I can marhsall them, especially taking advantage of the talented people in the Twin Cities, we can pull this off in grand fashion, but the clock is ticking in a very big way, so I’ll be hustling from here on out to make it happen.

This imagining of the rock show represents the jumping off point. Bringing the band to Minnepaolis for a show and documenting it would be the ideal situation. As logistics and financial restrictions assert themselves and the clock winds down, we may need to adjust the plan accordingly.

Though this is somewhat tentative, I will be posting updates related to the show.

Additionally, I plan to get at least one film clip up here in the near future.
